Hi Paul,
What you are saying is a good workaround but this
doesn't work if you are dealing with multiple manager in different
regions, and sure they will not do this restriction which is exist on
the TFS,I see that it's better to customize the work item to accept more
than Assigned To maybe 2 or 3 person, this will be fair enough and this
is one time job :)

What do you think ?

Subject: RE: [OzTFS] MS Project with TFS Integration Problem

Hi Moustafa,

My organisation has used the MS Project & TFS integration for a few
projects and this is one of the issues we ran into.
Using the standard template, a work item can only be assigned to one
person at a time and I wasn't prepared to experiment with changing this.
I basically directed the project manager to break down the tasks in the
project plan into a greater level of detail so that assigning each task
to one resource made sense. I'm not entirely satisfied with this
resolution because it feels like too much of a workaround, but I am yet
to find a realistic alternative.

Subject: [OzTFS] MS Project with TFS Integration Problem

Hi Folks,
I see one of the limitation for Integration between MS
Project and TFS,when you but share tasks it doesn't accept to publish
it, the only way to do it is to create a new resources with more than
one name then select it from the assigned to list.

For example :

1 Development Task JOHN,ANTON -> THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
UNTIL YOU CREATE A RESOURCE WITH THIS NAME AND SELECT IT ON THE ASSIGNED
TO LIST.

I'm sure that all of you face this problem ? I want to make sure is
there any work around.

What I can see, that MS supposed to accept this with comma or semi colon
separated and insert multiple resources on the DB for the selected Work
Item, AM I wrong ?
