Try deleting the UI settings cache, which is where window positions are persisted. C:\Documents and Settings\<<yourID>>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Team Foundation\1.0\Cache\UISettings.Config
You could use Spy++ (Visual Studio tool) to find the dialog if you want. Buck From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Alastair Waddell Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2008 7:00 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OzTFS] VS2005 Hidden Dialoge Box Hi All, We are having an issue with 2 of our development pc's - there are 8 others working fine (all built on a standard SOE etc) The issue is that when they add a new file to their project which is under source control, the IDE just hangs and the only way out is to end task. It doesn't happen all the time, but more often than not It feels like there is a modal dialog window open but it is under the IDE so you just can't get to it. I have tried using the replacement alt Tab power toy to try find it - but nothing. They are all using vs2005 connected to TFS. OS - Win XP patched up to the latest. Any suggestions?
