Hello
I have seen the same behavior described by William using ReSharper in a dual-monitor environment but having the 2nd monitor on the right-hand side as the primary monitor. Specific ReSharper dialogs (like the Rename dialog) would then be placed outside the desktop region. I remember coming to this conclusion by using a tool like Winspector. These are some possible solutions: 1. When the dialog is shown, hold down Alt-Space to bring up the dialog menu, then press M to select Move, press any arrow key to start the move, then if you move the mouse on the current monitor the dialog should jump to the pointer's location. This new position will be remembered. 2. Reset the Visual Studio Settings. Tools->Import and Export Settings->Reset All Settings. I haven't tried this but I believe this is where the window locations are stored. It doesn't happen all the time, but more often than not It feels like there is a modal dialog window open but it is under the IDE so you just can't get to it. I have tried using the replacement alt Tab power toy to try find it - but nothing. They are all using vs2005 connected to TFS. OS - Win XP patched up to the latest. Any suggestions?
