Karl,
Check the work item template that is being used. The Assigned to field
may have a rule on it that is only allowing certain users.
For example, the following only allows user who are in the Testers and
Developers groups:
<FIELD refname="System.AssignedTo">
<ALLOWEDVALUES>
<LISTITEM value="[Project]\Testers" />
<LISTITEM value="[Project]\Developers" />
</ALLOWEDVALUES>
</FIELD>
Where as this will allow any user:
<FIELD refname="System.AssignedTo">
<VALIDUSER />
</FIELD>

Subject: [OzTFS] Some users not showing up in Assigned To drop down
Hi All,
We're having a strange problem. For some reason in the last few weeks,
when we assign people to projects, they do not appear in the Assigned To
drop down in any work items. Initially I thought it was the warehouse
not being updated (it hadn't run in a few weeks), but I ran it manually
and the problem has not been fixed. Any ideas? Can I 'rebuild' the
warehouse? Where is the Assigned To retrieved from? Any advice would be
greatly appreciated ;)
