Ooh, I forgot Black Like Me, a story of a white journalist who painted 
his face black and visited the South
"undercover" to discover firsthand the treatment that African Americans 
faced during the Great Depression.
Neat book! I read it in my twelfth grade Humanities class, but I don't 
remember it being inappropriate for younger
students, just maybe a little boring?

Okay, I'm going to stop there, so I don't do this all day.
