May, Thanks for posting the sample questions. I'm a bit concerned abut the upcoming Benchmarks for my 8th graders, too. Supposedly this year, there iwll be more questions like you posed. Thanks to Daily Grammar Practice (created by Dawn Burnette, one of your fellow Georgians), they stand a better chance on that part of the test.
