Our school has used Sopris West's "Language! A Comprehensive Literacy Curriculum" for about 3 years for our LD and other struggling readers. It is not perfect and may not fit with the currently popular philosophies but, It has been the only thing that has showed promise for many of these kids and some are showing growth for the first time, in a very long time.
