Liz,
Basically I'm looking at having students read more for enjoyment outside of
class and want to hold them accountable for doing it.  It sounds like you
have a similar set-up to mine in that we read whole grade novels and short
stories and I try to have independent reading one period at least every two
weeks.  I would love to see what you've designed and how you plan to use it.
