She has our auto/home insurance and found that she was very competitive. Since they owned a boat on the same dock as mine (I found out later) she may have had some influence on getting me insurance. I did have a major claim which didn't affect my insurance at all. I had one other claim against State Farm when a neighbors boat got away from her and took out the aft end of my boat. Initially they ruled it an "Act of God" but after my agent got involved they changed their mind and covered me. There's a pretty nice 15 HP Johnson on the bottom somewhere in the vicinity of my slip. I've been quite happy with the coverage so far. I can travel in Florida and the Bahamas without incurring a surcharge or lack of coverage, but I'm not real sure for how long. That will be something I'll need to look up some day.
