Norm: I use and recommend highly a Google product called "gmail." It's free, easy to use and has an excellent spam filter. When I reply to an email and want to only include part of the original email, I just highlight the part I want to delete and hit the delete key. It's too easy. This technique probably works with your Earthlink program as well, but I could be wrong. I totally agree that we *all* need to be more careful about deleting the surplus stuff. I know that, for people with slow connections, it's very frustrating to get emails that include a lot of repeated "stuff" that could have easily been deleted. Good luck! Phil McGovern
