In preparation for an ice box insulation project (which is not yet
done) I bought a roll of Reflectix insulation, based on the
recommendations I read some time ago, most likely in the C&C list.

It is thin (about 1/4") and coated with silvery material on both
sides.  It should take care of any radiant heat problem.
Can't remember where I got it, though.
