You’ll have to disconnect your shaft and block up (or hoist up) the engine utilizing whatever configuration you can get to lift the engine. (On our boat we were able to place a steel reinforced 4x4 over the companionway and use a come along tod lift directly upwards. Your engine compartment is most likely different). Once lifted, replace your mounts, being careful to repair or replace any stringer problems. Tough job. After you get done, shaft alignment is the critical issue. If you don’t do it very often pay a professional to do it and ask him to show you how he does it. A bit of knowledge well worth knowing. Sea u, rit No virus found in this outgoing message.
