If it covers from Alaska to where ever, why not go to Seattle and get insurance and tell them that you are temporally in BC if they ask. Why would they care where you were as long as it was in the covered area?

I do have accounts with Royal Bank, and they have an insurance department, so I've inquired there; but my quest for insurance Stateside taught me that there are enormous differences between underwriters, so it pays to shop around exhaustively. help...
