Mea culpa!!  I am forgetting we now live in the era of cheap chinese knock
offs.
The good designs still emerge but then the bean counters get involved and
zip! . .  the production is shifted to china and next thing you know its
available at Wal-Mart.

Yep!  if only we could go back to living without electrics except navigation
lights. < VBG>

But then we couldn't talk to each other because we would not have any
computers,  or internet, or . . . .

Guess we just gotta invent something more efficient.
