Caleb, If you are going to tow, I strongly advise two towing lines instead of one. One will always break first (usually from chafe) if they are stout enough and you will still have your dinghy. If you only have one, when that one parts you have lost your dinghy.
I do tow with two, and have been down to one on three occasions, then replaced the parted one at my convenience.
