I have rabbit ears now and I get 7 channels, I was thinking of something more
extensive.

How far are you from the stations you want to see? If they're local, you can
use rabbit ears. The nice thing about digital is that if the station is strong
enough to be received, there's no snow or ghosts; otherwise, you get nothing.
At home, I just got a digital converter for my old CRT set, and feed it with
Phillips amplified rabbit ears. The local digital stations are crystal clear.

Some time ago someone on the list referred to a HD tv device for laptop.
    I just got a 19" LCD TV-DVD (DAENYX 120-240 AC-12 VDC) combo from Wal-Mart
this past weekend. I am looking for advice on antennas or any thing that my
    son can watch his channels.
    Any help much appreciated.
