I have been told that, currently, the analog signals are getting more power
than the digital channels. This is how it appears to my on my boat. I am using
an old Shakespeare TV antenna about 20 feet in the air in a rural area. My TV
is a Sanyo el cheapo from Walmart with integrated analog and digital tuners for
under $300.
The same person told me that when the switch comes, the powerful transmitters
will be shifted to the digital channels. I sure hope so!
