Always wanted one of those spinning windows but my pilothouse windows are too far away from the helm for them to work well. They are small so one has to get up close to them to have any field of view. But they do work like magic to keep the window clear.
I have long thought about having a pipe with holes drilled in it mounted just above the pilothouse windows to wash the salt off, like the big ships have, but the round tuit hasn't showed up yet. We do have a garden hose handy so we just use that to wash off the salt when needed.
