While we are on the thread of bandwidth, I would like to remind everyone to
trim your outgoing messages down to just the pertinent portions to remind
people what you are replying to.  

When you don't there can often accumulate a large tail of redundant trash
especially when there are replies to replies to replies.  Say what you
will, just don't send any useless junk.

As Professor Strunk ('Elements of Style' by Strunk and White [as in E B
White]) was fond of saying: "Omit useless words."

As in the personal ad: "Minimalist seeks woman."

And while I'm on the soap box: for the sake of your readers, please read
your message out loud and make grammar corrections, run a spell checker
over the text before hitting the send button, and learn to use the colon an
semicolon.  Doing these things help the message flow into the mind easier
making your message more powerful.
