On a Honda there is an inline plastic fuel filter I think. How did they determine that oil was coming out? Could it have been fuel? Have the mud dobbers clogged the crankcase vent? If oil is coming out, is something mixing with it? fuel or water? It doesn't sound like you have run it with the cowling off. Do that, and take a better look at what is going on. Fuel or oil running out of anywhere in the engine would make an oil slick. The hose clamps on Hondas are not SS and tend to rust into quickly in salt water.
