Cruising plans? Did someone say cruising plans?

Later today I will unsubscribe from this mailing list because on Monday I will
leave Alicante for Formentera, Ibiza and Mallorca. Will do part of the trip
with a friend and his wife. If we get lucky, he and I will continue to
Sardegna, where about end of Oct. I would haul the boat and leave it to dry off
for the winter.

The Mediterranean has some drawbacks, but no hurricanes, so the best cruising
period is Aug - Nov.

Unsubscribe? Yes .. Lately there are too many posts with subjects that are non
related to sailing. And YES I know where the delete button is, but since I will
only get to email every 10 days or so, I don't want hundreds of non essential
emails hiding a potentially important message from my wife, my banker or my
gunsmith .... so ..... so long chaps, see you in three months.

Maybe it is time we moved over into "my anchor can kick your anchor's butt."
At least, that would be somewhat boat related.OTOH, we could talk about our
cruising plans. Beginning in a couple of weeks we plan to head up toward the
Chesapeake Bay area and, then, toward the end of 'cane season, to head south in
order to make our first Bahamas trip. Does anyone out there have similar
plans. We'd like to buddy boat with one or more boats who have been there and
done that. Anyone?Phil McGoverns/v Sunshine
