I'm replacing my old Westerbeke 8.5BT genset with a smaller one with a sound shield. The old genny is free to anyone who wants it. It is original to the boat (20 years old) and has 5k hours on it. That said, she still runs fine (most of the time).
As I am by myself, the only practical way for me to remove the thing is in pieces so you'll be getting a "kit" genny. However, I'll include all my spares; a complete gasket set, a couple of filters, a raw water impeller, and the shop manuals. I'm not interested in dealing with shipping. It'll be in S. Florida. If your interested, you'll have to come and get it. I'd prefer to give it away lock, stock, and barrel but if no one wants it complete and you need a part, let me know. If there are no takers, it become recycled iron.
