Interesting......

I was on a '97 Hunter 376 the other day equipped with a factory installed 
Phasor 6KW genset for the same reason, air-conditioning on the hook.  It 
seemed kinda loud but I could probably sleep well without the requirement of 
several run runners. This was set up in the cockpit locker and appeared to 
be well insulated but it still seemed "intrusive".
