Philip, a few years ago I bought a boat sight unseen that had a diesel truck engine in it. The marinizing was back yard, but worked. I had a problem with the exhaust elbow that was home made with water injection in the wrong place, so I took it out and went to my friendly tire store and I handed it to the muffler guy and told him what I wanted changed and in about twenty minutes he had made me a new one from exhaust pipe, welded on a piece of tubing for the water injection and said "you are welcome". I buy a lot of tires. I don't run that boat a lot, but it has held up incredibly well. I was expecting a season maybe, but it's been several years. Point being, get creative, maybe weld some iron pipe fittings or something together and you might be pleasantly surprised. Just don't sink or burn up your boat. **************Need a job?
