Here's what they say:
"This controller can be used for 12 or 24 volt battery systems, with 
panel voltages up to 75 volts (3 12-volt panels in series)."

Because 95w/15V is 6.3A.  If it's in series then I'd have only 6.3A, if 
it was in parallel, I'd have 12.6.

I haven't measured it but it's definitely over 20 feet from the back of 
the boat to the batteries.  Probably 30'.  However I guess the question 
is how far to the controller.  That's probably only going to be 12 feet 
or so, from each panel.

Supposedly the charge controller is a DC to DC converter with some 
intelligence and even if it's less than 12 volts, my understanding is it 
will put some, albeit not a lot, of energy into the battery.
