Stephen, on my last boat (an '81 Cherubini Hunter 33) I replaced all my nav
+ masthead/anchor lights with LEDs from OrcaGreen and have nothing but
praise for them or their units.

On my new boat, I swapped out the ancient AquaSignal masthead/anchor light
with a super bright LED from Kimberlite Industries
(http://kimberlitemanufacturing.com/). This will be the first season with
their product but from a conversation I had with them I understand they make
direct replacements for the AquaSignal units.

Otherwise, the only piece of advice I'd heard a lot of is, if possible, stay
away from those LED lamps designed to fit into the normal sockets. From what
I've heard they just don't last and are prone to issues with are
non-existent with the 'designed from the ground up' LED fixtures whether bow
(bi-lights), stern or mast/anchor or deck/steaming.
