Ben and I are headed off for East Georgia (the one next to Alabama) this coming week - dunno how much time he's going to have for mailing lists, as it promises to be an intense week of work. Meanwhile, we bit the bullet and gave West Marine their ransom for a new autopilot system. I suspect Ben will be back when this class he's teaching is over, to explain what he tried with the old one - all I know is that he tried and just ran into too damned much to deal with, and we decided that it was finally better to stop trying to fix the problem with stress and skullsweat. We'll get going, barring unforeseen craziness, when we get back from Columbus, GA, via ICW.
