Ben, I know that you are right and have heard this before on other boards. The people who are happy with it boat 50 hours a year.
It is very interesting to hear about the Kipor, but I have allot of trouble believing the Chinese on this Mount Everest thing. Of course, it's where on the mountain they have it. Base camp level - you bet. Real high up in the cold with little oxygen - NOT! I suppose they can afford to get porters to carry gas or diesel up to the generator, but have these guys considered solar power? Sheesh!
