Roy, The setup has been very reliable for us, and I would like it this way on any future boat. If you're considering it, I have no hesitation recommending this setup.
The only clogging we have experienced, was caused by excess toilet paper with insufficient water, and also kleenex or paper towels being flushed by the unwary. Oh also, the tank air-vent can clog once in a while if the tank is over-full too often. FYI, if your tank air-vent has a metal barb-connector, replace it with plastic, because the metal will corrode easily. -Neal.
