Solder can wick out beyond the terminal barrel and defeat strain relief as
it is brittle. The reason that ABYC specifies stranded wire is for the same
reason - more flexible and less likely to fail owing to vibration.

Having said that, on my first sailboat a major marine electrical firm (they
did tugs and fancy yachts) in NY fitted me out with raw metal terminals and
told me to crimp them and then fill from the bottom with solder. Then I used
shrink wrap - no adhesive in those days. Everything worked fine for 18
years.

Walmart carries insulated 3M terminals with adhesive-lined shrink wrap ends.
Top quality and economical. Check the RV section.
