Welcome aboard, Michael!  Glad you found us.  You'll find this a very active 
list with liveaboards, weekenders, powerboaters and sailors. It's a social 
group with a lot of the folks chiming in with comments, questions, answers, 
etc..  It's a HUGE resource of knowledge. If you've got a question about 
anything about rigging, engines, instruments, etc., chances are someone on 
the list has had the same issue before and came up with a fix or workaround 
and everyone's usually eager to help prevent someone else from going through 
what they might have gone through. The depth of experience is awesome and 
just about everyone gives freely of their knowledge.
