I had a bike shop for years and did a bit of research in to why people in cars run into bicycles, even when the rider is in plain sight. They didn't "see" you. Many people, probably all of us at one time or another, look to see if there are any cars - No cars? Go! Woops! The mind is the organ of perception , not the eye. If the (preoccupied?) mind does not see what it is looking for, then all is clear. HINT. Can't find what you are looking for? Call out its name and watch it pop into sight. -- S/V ORYOKI Currently lying in Beaufort NC "There's no point in making a plan if you're going to pretend to follow it!" _______________________________________________ Liveaboard mailing list [email protected] To adjust your membership settings over the web http://liveaboardonline.com/mailman/listinfo/liveaboard To subscribe send an email to [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] The archives are at http://www.liveaboardonline.com/pipermail/liveaboard/ To search the archives http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected] The Mailman Users Guide can be found here http://www.gnu.org/software/mailman/mailman-member/index.html
