We have a Broadwater which we bought ~10 years ago. I think they're no
longer available, so that may not be particularly helpful information.
The oven heats somewhat unevenly, as in if you're baking something for
an hour and want the entire thing cooked through, you'd best rotate it
at least once, but it gets good and hot, and the high output burner on
the range top is good enough for a wok. It cost a fortune, but I cook
a lot, and a good stove was important to me.

We have a Force 10 stove. We have added tile to the bottom of the

There have been owner write ups about a "not there" shield/plate of
some type or another in the oven to remedy some of that. I am
remembering uneven baking temperatures.
but the oven doesn't get that hot.
We have had three in three different boats and all the ovens came in
at about 425 max...can't say they were stable at that temp, would
have to ask the admiral.
The stove top is pretty anemic too. It has one 8000 BTU burner but
the other three are like four or five thousand BTUs.
Would be checking hose size, volume and fittings for restrictions in
both (top burner stuff) and the oven.
I did help one party clean out all of the rust from the cast
diffusers with a drill bit.
Force 10 seems to be what there is. Am I wrong? Does someone have a
different brand that they like?
The only other brand I am aware of has people griping worse than
what you have mentioned, so I won't relate that one.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Philip McConnell
