Actually, Ben, mine is aluminum, I think. I'm holding it now and it looks, feels, and "weighs" like aluminum - or at least some comparable really lightweight metal (except for the 'plexi' face to pencil-mark on...). I can't find any use for my fuel tank drain thingi (to pull off any water in the bottom of the tank)! And my approach plates don't do a hell of a lot of good on the boat!
