Sorry for this bad news. It's been great to see all the support from this group.
When my wife found out she has a brain meningioma, we were able to find a great on line support group using google. She still participates on the group and has made several lasting friends from it. Best of luck and Donna and my prayers will be with you, Jan and David over the next few weeks. Jan's son David has lost his fierce fight to save his foot. Damaged in a motorcycle accident, it was broken into three pieces. After months of intense pain involving multiple bone and flesh surgeries, a record number of hyperbaric treatments, painful skin grafts, PIC lines, and almost daily medical appointments an intractable infection has set into his bones and is moving up his tibia. His foot will be removed mid-calf on May 9th. Jan and I wish to thank everyone who have expressed concern for his well-being.
