I met a user in IRC yesterday that was getting kernel oopses, even with the 6.2 CD. Funny thing was he was using a amd64 machine. I think the x86_64 CD worked alright for him, except that it didn't have support for his SATA drive. I wasn't consistently available yesterday, so I wasn't able to pin down the exact problem.
If you think of anything more to add Jeremy, let me know. The 6.1.1 LiveCD is more or less just in bugfix/maintenance mode.
Well, considering the above, I wonder if it would be wise to get the dm changes into the 6.1.1 branch before we tag and release 6.1.1-5. (BTW, looks as if we never tagged 6.1.1-4).
