Hi Gabriel, I just wanted to update this thread. So, I've tried to update to the latest version, but it just was impossible : the configure step ran correctly, but the make step failed, as if a dependency (on a -dev package, I guess) wasn't met. I've looked at the debian package dependencies, and it occurred it's impossible to fit them on an Ubuntu 10.04 base. As they have shows very soon, I just couldn't take the risk of changing the distribution.
But I finally found a work around: by installing libsdl1.2-dev, I could run the sdl plugin, and then it worked perfectly. I always have this sound delay, but as I'm a "UNIX-way-of-thinking-software boy", I anyway prefer to use a sampler for this, so that's now OK! Still, I find it weird that one needs to have lisdl1.2-*dev* installed to use this plugin. I've seen it brings sdl-config, so I suppose that's why, but I always find it weird when a program depends on a -dev package! ;) Anyway, I now can tell you: CLIMAT USES LIVES FOR THEIR LIVE SHOW https://fr-fr.facebook.com/pages/climat/111224262231964 (sorry, don't have any other non-facebook page). By the way, thanks for your help, time and software, Gabriel!!!
