Ah yes, you are correct. Unfortunately I could never find a correct way of
checking if SDL was installed at runtime, except by looking for sdl-config.
It never occured to me that this file was only in the dev package. I agree
that it is less than ideal.
Anyway I am pleased that you managed to sort it out. Great to have another
group using LiVES too !
