I have updated LMMS packages here:
https://launchpad.net/~kxstudio-team/+archive/ppa/
The packages are part of the KXStudio repositories, so there is quite a few
extra stuff in there besides LMMS.
Although I'm not a LMMS user myself, I do like to keep the software
up-to-date.
