Ableton is designed to be live and I really think it hurts the song
editor.  Everything done in one view has to be recorded or copied into the
other view.  Tweaking a sequence only changes it for that particular place
and requires a bunch of copy/paste or rerecording to fix.  Its a fantastic
DAW, but I make tracks much faster in LMMS.

The one advantage to this method is building and stacking sequences becomes
the new norm, which makes the creation process explode, but drawing out the
whole track is quite a mess in comparison to LMMS.

I agree with the perspective to keep LMMS on focus for a sequencer and to
allow the live functions to be on a wish list only, however, those "live"
functions that make it a better sequencer for composers and "live"
collaborators can be a game changer.
