By track widget, I mean the "title strip" in the song/bb editors, at the left side of the actual track.
We already have vol/pan knobs there, even though those are also duplicated in the instrument track window. And it's good! They're very convenient for quickly adjusting the volumes/pannings of instruments, without having to open their respective GUIs one by one. And I'd like that same thing to be possible for the fx channel selector as well. This would be especially useful for when I import many samples at once to a bb-editor, and I usually want to assign all (or most) of them to the same fx channel. For this I have to now open the GUI of each AFP separately, even though I usually don't have to do anything else in the AFP, it's bothersome to have to open/close the windows just to adjust one spinner. So, does everyone agree with the idea of adding a fx channel selector in the track widget? If so, I might look into implementing this, if it's within my capabilities (the whole track.cpp codebase is a bit intimidating, but I think I could maybe manage this simple thing). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
