Yes, sorry, this is tremendously confusing.

Windows calls the file "qt_pt.qm"
Ubuntu calls this file "pt_br.qm".

There are several issues with localization from my testing. Some are
confusing and some are bugs that need fixing.

My hunch is QT handles Windows locale slightly differently than Ubuntu due
to the "qt_" in the name, but if you notice it's missing the Brazilian
distinction.

The bug is that there is no country distinction, which means Britain and US
both see "Color" rather than "Colour". I actually can't get any
distinction of country to work, which is why I believe you've had no
success. From what I can tell LMMS is scripted to look for pt_br, but has
no way of reading the "br" part. Please someone confirm this bug and I'll
file a report.

In terms of why you didn't see this file in GitHub (stable-1.0.0) was just
timing, Toby just recently committed it, it was sitting on my personal
branch waiting for approval when you looked.

Thanks again for the help. My recommendation for now is to simply use "pt"
and drop the "br" until we can sort out the country designations.

In the mean time if you would like to install the QM file yourself,
download it here:
https://github.com/tresf/lmms/raw/stable-1.0/data/locale/pt_br.qm you'll
just have to play trial and error while renaming it until we sort this bug
out.
