We're all users here. I don't think anyone here is just in it for the
coding, pretty much everyone on this mailing list is here because we
love making music (no matter if we're all that good at it or not). The
decision to break compat wasn't one that was made lightly. I've
explained the reasoning in earlier posts pretty extensively...
