Hi Tim,

When I mute a track I want it to not send anything at all anywhere. So
in my mind, mute is "disable output". While arming a track fro record
is "enable input". It should be as easy as this. For muted tracks the
gui controls shouldn't be updated, because like you said, nothing is
changed at the receiver. I never use the controls much since I prefer
to enter midi messages in the list editor, but I think disabling all
gui controls would be the right thing.
