Hi @all,
This is my first email from my new email address which I from now on use to
write to the Muse developers and users mailing lists. I changed my
registration email address for these mailing lists from
[email protected]
to
[email protected]
So I hope that from now on I can successfully send emails to these mailing
lists, so that the all of you and me can receive them again, without being
rejected or being marked as spam.

Hi Robert,

In this video tutorial whose link you send to us, in the first video tutorial,
a Drumgizmo drumkit is connected to a MusE song with a MIDI track. Drumgizmo
drumkits have 16 channels, but - according to the maker of the tutorial - MusE
only has two drum channels. Due to this, the maker of the video uses Carla to
connect the Drumgizmo LV2 plugin and a Drumgizmo drumkit with MusE. Carla can
connect 16 channels with two channels (stereo).
But this approach is too complicated because there is the Simpledrum plugin in
MusE. I tested the Simpledrum plugin today with a Drumgizmo drumkit in the
latest MusE 3.0 pre-release, it works. One only needs to edit the individual
wav files of the Drumgizmo drumkit because they each contain more than 2 wav
tracks.
About getting the native GUI of Carla displayed:

Thanks for pointing me to the right direction. I installed the package
python3-pyqt5.qtsvg in my system, and voila: the GUI of Carla is displayed
within MusE ;-)
Regards,
Jens
