Both fixed now in git master.
Thanks very much for the catch Dennis!

Regarding the freeze, three tips:

If you also use Pulse, ensure the system's Pulse-to-Jack
bridge is set up properly. Otherwise apps such as MusE may
freeze when starting due to competition between Jack and Pulse.

When an app such as MusE crashes while using Jack,
in some rare cases it might be possible that it leaves
Jack in an odd state. I find this while debugging a lot,
but that has more to do with me pausing the program
which Jack doesn't like. I must kill Jack in that case.

Don't worry about the complaining of the Jack version
being all zeros. It means it's Jack-2.
But the Jack organization team has never bothered to set
the values yet, all these years! (I should tell them.)
So I simply warn about that fact at startup.

Please let me know if any further trouble, try to
 capture some details.

Cheers.
Tim.

I will look at and fix those compilation errors.
At least the RtAudio one has been observed...

Hi Dennis,

I wrote a reply earlier today with some ideas but it seems I never sent it :P
Good that it started to work!

If I would guess, I think that jack had somehow ended up in a bad state causing MusE to hang.

Robert
