This is just an idea. but what if you feed off the Launchpad API of each LoCo and populate the map based of where the majority of members are. i.e. If you see that the majority of the members or in a State/Country then you can assume the LoCo covers the country. If the majority are just in 1 city/metroplex then you can assume they cover just that city(s).
I'm not sure if the Launchpad API supports this, or if those are safe assumptions to make.
