Documentation! I love that word.
The log4j docs ship with the distributions and are also available on-line at jakarta.apache.org/log4j. Why not have the chainsaw docs be like the existing log4j docs?
To create the site docs see http://jakarta.apache.org/site/jakarta-site2.html
I will gladly help you if you run into trouble.

Hi All,
Very soon we will be putting together a pretty detailed set of Documentation for Chainsaw v2, it will contain:
* Quick Start Guide * User Manual
Does anyone have any comments regarding whether these documents should be:
* Embedded within Chainsaw (HTML) - This is nice and portable, but makes the app a bit more heavy, size-wise.
* Part of the Log4 web-site (HTML), accessed externally by the user (perhaps referenced as explict URL's within the GUI.) - This allows us to update the Documentation independent of the software.
* external PDF - Nice to print
Also, if there is anyone that would like to volunteer as an proof reader/editor, we would be eternally grateful.
regards,
Paul Smith
