I have looked at your messages, but I am not sending a "read receipt" when I do. If you are depending on reciepts to determine whether your messages are being read, you're not getting accurate information.
In fact, I going to ask you not to send your messages requesting a receipt. It's a tad annoying and I'm not sure why you would need that on a newsgroup list. It seems like reciepts are more appropriate in a one-on-one business setting where the sender really has a need to know that the message was received. If your purpose is to find out how active this group is, you just need to watch the traffic for a while. This is an active group, and you can feel confident that your messages are well read.
