AFAICT Sandcastle only supports ASP.NET pages.
Sandcastle (I suggest using it via the "Sandcastle Help File Builder [1]) does fine in creating static html output. You just get an *additional* index.asp and index.php that provies full-text search, if your server supports it. [1]: https://github.com/EWSoftware/SHFB/ Regards, Jonas
